Advanced Practice Consulting, LLC (APC) is a dynamic consultancy founded by Renata Weatherspoon, an accomplished healthcare professional with over two decades of experience. Renata’s journey in healthcare began in 2004 as a Registered Nurse in the ER, where her passion for patient care laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Inspired by her work in mental health, Renata advanced her career by earning a Master of Science in Nursing and becoming a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner in 2013.

Through her multifaceted career, Renata has achieved significant milestones, including establishing two private practices, serving as a Forensic Nurse Expert Witness in high-profile legal cases, owning a healthcare staffing agency, and operating as a Government Contractor, Realtor, and Medical Director. She has also contributed to the healthcare community as a co-author of Black Girls Guide to Nursing School and a published writer for BlackDoctor.org and Black Men with Beards.
